Welcome to TK!
My name is Mrs. Ervin and I am thrilled to welcome you and your child to Tahoe Valley Elementary. We are the Thunderbirds and we SOAR! This means we will explore learning this year to learn how to be Successful scholars, be Outstanding people, have positive Attitudes, and be Respectful to everyone.
We are excited to meet you for TK Orientation at 9:00am in the MPR/Cafeteria. Due to limited space, please have only your student and one family member attend.
We will have a fun-filled morning learning all about TK. No supplies, backpacks, snacks or home lunches are needed for orientation. Everyone will get to try out school lunch at orientation.
Please come prepared with the necessary information for how your child will get home each day. (We can help figure out bus routes, if needed.) Here is a link to the Bus Schedules. Your child’s safety is our number one priority.
We will be using Remind for classroom communication for our TK class. It is the easiest way to get ahold of me with questions, concerns, schedule changes, etc. It is also where I will be sharing daily photos of our adventures in TK.
